The first cut of best schools are listed in industry rankings like Business Week, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Financial Times, US News & World Report.

After that, you really need to see what you want to study. For example, Kellogg is "the best" school for Marketing; Harvard has been considered "the best" for General Management; best in Finance is a toss up between Columbia and Wharton, and so forth.

The top three schools ever though, regardless of where they move around in the league tables, will probably always be Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton.
