cant people in the middle east just accept that people are different, and live and let live?

i think Arabs do > as far as i know , Jews have been among Arabs for a long time and they were more or less integrated into each society they were in ... but after taking over Palestine and the killings of the refugees in kana and what is happening now in Lebanon and the terrible Israeli bloody history... i think it would be hard not understand why Arabs are not pro Israeli.... ???!!!! they kill them , they kill civilians MY GOD .... hzeb alla in my opinion is nothing more than a group of ppl trying to get the rest of it's land back ,..... it is their right

Its not as simple as accepting difference. There has been a long histroy of violent between various fratcions in the Middle East, and before communitiesw can learn to accept with and live with eachother, to need to resolve historical differences and events. This is something that will take, probably, many years to occur. Also, to be fair, Israel needs to give back the stolen land to the Arabs, before the Arab communities can accept Israel as a friend and not an enemy.

All middle east problems come down to 3 things

religion, land, and oil

Usually they use the religion to mask their desire for one of the other two things. In this case they are fighting over land that each religious group believes god wants them to have. So regardless of recognizing differences, this thing will not end for a very long time.

When they are able to let the past rest, yes. But the battle of land, they stole, no they stole it. Is the argument which they will continue to use to kill each other.

Who cares. Why does it matter. I don't care about land my ancestors owned. I don't even care about land my parents own.

People need to stop thinking about the past, and focus on the future. Until that day the bloodshed will continue.

NO!!! Lets hope they never do stop fighting... because it says in the bible... (I heard this in church when i was like... 12) that when the people of the middle east have peace, then beginning of the end of the world will start.. or something like that...

Actually MOST of them DO.

It's just their voices are not heard out of fear of all the private militant sects. They could be killed by just speaking up, They live in terror. We're trying to help but it isn't going very well.

They think they are just as sick as WE do. They fear them and hate them.

I know because I have some friends who moved here to get away from it.
