Why is most people in the world look in to other people's matters where they have more things to look into

Most people like to compare. Are we better off than our neighbor? Do they have more problems than we? Then there are those who are just nosy. They like to gossip about others which takes the spotlight off of their failings. I like the old saying about the woman who liked to gossip about her neighbor who would hang her clothes on the line where the woman could see from her window and she gossiped about how gray her neighbors laundry was not realizing that is was her window that was dirty.

Because it makes some people feel important to be able to help or be involved or to know about other peoples situations. And sometimes it makes people feel better because they can see that other people have problems besides them, also some people are just plain nosy!

Ignorance is bliss! --> Thats why they ignore thier own problems

because they have nothing else better to do with their time
