Im looking to purchase a treadmill does anyone know which is better, a nordictrack or spirit treadmill?

Does anyone have any suggestions other than my two choices?

Your answer is a bit loaded. Nordictrack is made by Icon Health and Fitness, the same people who manufacture Proform, Weslo, Image and a few other of the lower end, poor quality treadmills and ellipticals. In general anything from Icon is very lower end and subject to a much higher breakdown rate.

Spirit, on the other hand, has been making treadmills for about 25 years now and has one of the better warranties on the market. The Spirit (and Sole treadmills as well, which are just Spirit units with a different label on them) treadmills are very sturdy and have nice large motors on them.

From my experience, I'd say stay away from Icon. And, in a heads up between Nordictrack and Spirit, Spirit winds hands down every time.
