In desparate need of a lawyer....?
I live in the Lake George area, NY. I am really needing a lawyer that is willing to do pro bono divorce...can anyone help? Please?
I keep paying his bills!!! I have been raising my boys since he walked out on us. He does not even care for paying support even with a court order!!! I have had a checking account siezed because of him not paying his bills. I want it stopped!!! His girlfriend signs his name to **** and I do not care to answer for the stupid crap anymore. I need it done. And I do work, and pay my bills but, because the jerk drank, cheated and beat us we have to suffer? How is that fair? Many lawyers do pro bono work. It is just a matter of finding that person willing to help. He can also file for the X to pay him. I have heard of that. Besides, I am owed more than a lawyers fee. No, doing a dvorce myself is still too costly and there is no way for an uncontested.

Lawyers don't like doing things for free. There are attorneys that do pro bono work, but not divorces.
