Despite absense of Smith, are South Africans still powerful?

Will the Sri Lankans win the test series?

South Africa is one of the best cricket teams in the world at this time.

They have a bunch of all-rounders who can do well in one department even if they fail in other department. They are very much skilled and potentially strong so it is not a great problem if they do not have Smith. Though they will have some loss with out Smith, they can fill it with out any trouble.

On the other hand, The Lankans are on song after crashing the English team to a clean sweep. The return of Jayasuriya had got them a lot of courage and he also performed at his best. He is assisted by Sangakkara and Jayawerdena in batting and the bowling department is looked after the by Vass and Murali.

Keeping this in view, the Lankan and also the Africans are going to wage a good battle in the ground.

Both the teams are well ebgaged for the series to perform their best. Atlast I couldn't wait for the start of the series. It is going to be interesting. I cannot predict the exact result but the South Africans are having the upper hand in my view.

Hope for the best cricket matches in that series.

Well, without Smith the Proteas won't have unnecessary pressure heaped on them, which is usually the case when he makes his unqualified and arrogant statements.

No honestly, the Proteas are powerful without the big unit, but they will have to deal with Murali...and looking at the way they deal with Warney, that could a huge problem.
