What happened to GOOD rock? What's up with all this 'emo' music? And?

If you're relying on corporate music to give you the rock you want, you get what you deserve. You have to look into less mainstream artists.

I ask the same questions. I guess kids just have it sooo hard these days (insert sarcasm) I agree, wish newer, good music would come out. Avenged Sevenfold and Killswitch Engage is good..but I miss ground breaking bands like Godsmack, Disturbed and Metallica. I guess the times just change, unfortunately.

Teenagers these days are a bunch of whiny little babies. So they listen to whiny music, they think it's cool to be depressed and complain. Well it's not! Stop being a bunch of crybaby little ******* and grow some damn balls. (that was a good question)

do you mean the hair metal bands from the 80's.they were and are great and cool.and 70's rock bands are great too.

GOOD rock is still here. You are just lookin in all the wrong places and the wrong stations. Don't look so hard. radio station find the radio station "the buzzard" and you got ur GOOD rock.

Well everybody seems to like it now.I guess ever since pop came along,everyone seemed to like the way it sounded.Plus they probly thought the singers were hot.

its just a cover, all those bands could not possibly have the same sound.(growing on me by the Darkness= greatness)

Rap and Hip hop came along, but the new Tool cd is pretty good.

effin drunk is right, mainstream music sucks. look deeper, and if that doesnt work listen to the older stuff.
