Although I have met good-tempered, healthy Shar-Pei, the breed is unfortunately riddled with health and temperament problems due to the extreme popularity they experienced some years ago. Therefore I would suggest that a Boxer is the better choice, I have rarely met one with a poor temperament, although I can't comment on their health status.
Either way, look for a dedicated, reputable breeder for you best chances of finding a healty puppy with good temperament. Make sure you meet the mother and as much of the family as possible, decide if they are the kind of dogs you want to live with.

boxer!!! My cousin has a boxer and he is really nice. Although the dimensions and the look the boxer is a very curios and lovable dog. It is always there for you and it's a perfect buddy. you don't have to wash him too much nor do you have to take particular care of it's fur. All it needs is a garden (or 3 walks a day) and a family. It is a perfect dog for children and it never becomes aggressive...unless it is treated badly.
Sharpei is a cool dog. It is so cute but I think that the boxer is so interesting and very very cute.
I think that the question you made isn't correct because since you own them both you might notice the different characters. Each dog is different...everyone has different tastes. I love small dogs that play a lot and that sleep in your bed but maybe others like big dogs.....who knows?

Boxers are the better choice, because of the health problems that shar-pei's have. Eyes, skin, attitude ect. Boxers have problems also, but not as many as the shar-pei.

Well, I guess there are problems with both, so it's pretty much up to you. Boxers can have hip problems. Shar-pei's need special attention to the skin. My friend has 2 shar-pei's and they are good with children (hers are anyway). I myself have always wanted a brindle boxer because they are so pretty. I would just read up on as much information as you can before making your decision. Good luck!

Boxer by far. Shar Pei's are unique and cute, but they are more closely related to a Chow, so they tend to have their personality traites. They become a one person dog, and will become fiercely loyal. Read up on them or Chow's, so you know what you are getting into. If you want a great all around good pet - boxer is your best bet.

Your pic's don't show up. Those DNA test show the breeds that make up a specif breed. Example you swab a shih tzu it will come back with the breeds that make up a pug and a pekinese because a pug and pekinese is what was used to make a shih tzu. It may even show percentage of other breeds that you would not even think of.
