Has anyone had success video chatting from a Mac to a PC?

I dont know how to make it work 100%

The PC can see me (from my mac) but I can never see them!

Any tips?

Ok, only answer if you have a real solution.

I happen to know that all my PC user friends are having a heck of a lot of trouble with viruses and computer crashing, and I have NEVER had any of those problems. As far as MY OWN experience goes, its PCs that dont do what they are supposed to do! (I used to be a PC owner I used to reformat my computer every year because of pop-ups and viruses that slowed me down)

BY THE WAY, Mac to Mac works FLAWLESSLY! Id like to see PCs get multiple people into a single video chat session with such ease.

    WTF PEOPLES? MACS KICK A**! PCs SUCK, AND THEY ALWAYS WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I HEARD ONE OF MY FRIENDS COMPLAINING ABOUT VIRUSES, AND ME SAYING, HAHAHA, IT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU HAD A MAC! ALL MY LIFE I HAD HEARD THAT MACS SUCK...THEY DO NOT! I'M GETTING SICK AND TIRED OF HEARING IT. PEOPLE WHO HAVE SAID THAT HAVE NEVER USED A MAC BEFORE, SO I DON'T EVEN WANT TO HEAR IT. MAC OS X HAS A BUNCH MORE COOL STUFF THAN WINDOWS XP WILL EVER HAVE, AND WINDOWS VISTA IS COPYING THAT, WHICH MAKES ME ANGRY. CAN MICROSOFT THINK OF THEIR OWN CRAP FOR ONCE? I GUESS NOT.

    Now, to answer this question: Make sure the PC users AIM software is up-to-date. I believe only a certain version of AIM will support video conferencing between Mac and PC. Hope this helps, and if anybody gives you a hard time about Macs, let me know, cause i'll kick there a**! Good luck!

    NO......macs where made for students and when i had one yrs ago i even went and got a mac cam ...it didnt work worth crap...no voice and no cam ....gr8 for playing games on tho ....they are fast

    Computer Slow

    Download and then run startup.exe at:

    Can't live without it and windows...

    Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.

    Other things to try:

    1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)

    2 - Defrag

    3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)

    ALL ELSE FAILS - RELOAD YOUR O/S (WINDOWS) AND THEN REINSTALL ALL OTHER PROGRAMS YOU NEED/USE!
