What is the Aprox. value of a '68 Firebird Convertible w/350 cu in engine?

Has about 2 - 3,000 miles on a body-off recon. Professionally rebuilt 350 engine (2-300 miles). Good top w/dress boot.

Are these increasing in value enough over the next 6 months -1 year that I should wait, or sell it now?

i have self belief that the LT1 replaced into designed to be positioned into camaros and the LS1 replaced into put in the corvettes. i recognize for a undeniable actuality that LT1 engines were put in the camaros interior an similar years of your firebird. they're both F body autos with truly an similar structure so the LT1 ought to bypass in no difficulty. CHevy always wanted to keep the corvette the coolest in style line in performance so the engine may always must have more suitable ability than the camaro which could make for the version in engine. The corvette engine may have more suitable ability which i have self belief is the LS.

waiting wont help the price any time soon...theyre already pretty hard to come by...if thats not an original motor it wont be worth quite as much either...chevy? or pontiac? if it looks good and complete and clean you might get what the guy above said especially if it still has all the original equipment under the hood...if the engine bay was gutted and a non original motor transplanted ..a "hotrod"..it wont be worth quite as much...maybe 6-8Gs if it looks good. thats my opinion....

I'd say somewhere in the $12-$15,000 range if it is a mint and proper restore.
