depends on what your goal is, what you really want to do in life.
I found that if you're going to go into finance, economics, banking, then you need a BS in Business Administration.
Seems to me a BA is lighter on the schooling but hospitality is more specialized. Maybe you mean hospitality as a speciality after a BA. I don't know what the university you've chosen offers, so I would suggest you discuss it with a school counselor.

A Business Adminstration degree is very general and could land you a job in any type of business.
The Hospitality degree takes you into a line of work that is definitely for outgoing "people" persons.
I recommend taking a look at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida, Orlando. The campus is very near Sea World and right off International Drive. One of the requirements to graduate is to work (intern / part time) in the industry. The college helps you find jobs so you can get a feel of various jobs in the field and have experience when graduating from college.
What better place to get experience than one of the largest tourist attraction cities in the US, Orlando Florida, with Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World as well as near-by Beaches, Golf Courses, Cruise Lines, Kennedy Space Center, Daytona Speedway, etc.

There are lots of opportunities in many fields. My advice would be: learn the fundamentals of business (basic accounting, finance, marketing, management) and do something you're passionate about.

BA would broaden your field.
BA would get you in an array of fields where the Hospitality would limit you to the Travel industies
Source(s): FWIW: I am getting my BA and I am in the travel industry. I got my travel agent credentials a different route than through school http://www.travelpresentation.com/
