OK. So what are these "Thank yous" the Answers people are carping about?

I didn't get anything when I got on level 2 and I just got on level 3 Thursday (I'm so excited), and I still didn't get anything. I think it's either a gimmick to make people want to keep asking questions, thus promoting the site, or it could be that they haven't really thought of an appropriate reward at this point...I mean yahoo answers really didn't gain much popularity till this year so it's still thriving...

It doesn't matter to me though, it's something to do, keeps my brain functioning in the summer while I'm out of school, and it's good to help and educate other people...not to mention some of these questions are so ridiculous you can't help but laugh sometimes...

Hello! I think the gratification is asking and answering. I'm at level 3 I didn't think the wallpaper was any big deal. Big whoop. I just enjoy typing away while giving and learning. It is a way of not being anti-social. You never know maybe the competition sites will stimulate the BRAIN, and give materialistic rewards. (If that's what your hinting at).You never know.

I haven't heard of anything. But isn't this a great idea? Its a lot like going up to strangers in a crowd and asking questions, but without the fear of physical bodily harm. I didn't get the wallpaper, but I'm on level 3 - but then, I make really cool wallpaper myself.

Is C & A transforming into a touch clique-ish lately? Um yeah, yet it truly is what makes this section the perfect i wager. I've never gotten anything. I can just see it as one of those things that always say coming soon. That's alright with me though. I always wondered if I get above those levels when the special thank yous are implemented will I still get them or not because I've already passed the level?
