i STILL can't seem to install Yahoo Messenger.?
I download the installer and it goes through the installation process and tells me that the installation process is complete and that I should now be able to use Yahoo Messenger. However, it does not put an icon to open Yahoo Messenger on my desktop... if I click on the installer thing again it just goes through the installation process again. So I must have Yahoo Messenger but I can't figure out where it is?

Mike, have you tried to look it up in your start menu? If you find Yahoo Messenger there, then right click on it and then select Sent to -> Desktop...that creates a shortcut on your desktop.
But as the person above me already said, Yahoo Messenger is currently experiencing issues with the connectivity, so you might not be able to log on right now. Just have some patience, it should be working soon again.

once you downloaded the executable application of the messenger, close the browser. then circulate to the icon the place it is placed, in all probability on your computing device, double click it and it will open for installation. click confident while led to to invite to abide the words of provider of that application.

You should try an older version of it. My friend did and he succeeded. Sometimes the older the better :).
