Is it true about shakira being dead. I saw it on mtv news and its allover myspace?

Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll (Shakira) best known as a musical performer who performed hits such as, whenever,wherever, la tortura and most recently hips dont lie, was pronounced dead early thursday morning july 20th 2006.the reason for her death is said to be alchohol poisoning.

Shakira was supposed to be performing in a concert to support the Arabs some time in the near future.

Shakira will always be remembered for her truth telling hips and breasts that cannot be confused for mountains.

She leaves behind her mother Nidia Ripoll Torrado,brother Jekon Mebarak Chadid and other family memebers and friends not to mention all of her fans.

Please repost this and show your love for this much talented pop icon.

    I don't think so. Shakira was alive and well when she made a statement calling an end to hostilities in the Middle East at 2PM on the 23rd of July.

    None of the websites I've checked have reported that.

    Not even the official shakira website.

    Sweetie, Why wouldn't you check MTV.COM before posting such a thing? All you are doing is fueling the rumor mill. Not to mention that I'm sure Shakira is not too thrilled to find out she died last Thursday morning. Gimmie a break....DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE SPREADING HORRIBLE RUMORS. You asked us when you are OBVIOUSLY sitting in front of a computer and could have looked it up WITHOUT spreading MORE rumors. Geez!!!!!!!!!

    Last time myspace said something like that, it proved to be untrue. I personally don't believe it since last week there was a rumor about this about Kel.

    i don't think so. If it were true, it would've hit our newspapers by now and everyone would be talking about it. If you check her official website, there's no mention about her death, and she has added a few more shows along the way too.
