Great car, lots of features, and great gas milage (although, not better than a Prius. Prius: 51 city 60 hwy....realworld: 45-50 mpg. xA: 31 city 38 hwy.
the xA is NOT the box....not that there's anything wrong with that. But some folks are extremely confused about the Scion line up and think it's only the box.
You will not find a similar equipped car, with similar quality, at close to this price. Unbelievable value for dollar ratio.

My friend owns a scion and its a nice little car. The ride is fine and has a sporty interior. Gets great gas mileage and saves money on gas.
The bad part about the car is that it has a small engine. The car is slow but if your the type that takes it nice and slow then maybe this your car but wouldnt recommend it for big families, but still is a good car for singles.

I offered the 1st Scions while they got here to California...they are solid automobiles, as are all Toyotas, despite if i could under no circumstances advise somebody purchase a 2004 with 80 5,000. confident there is an risk there continues to be yet another 100k miles left on it, yet each and all of the massive funds upkeep would be falling on you. in case you dont strategies identifying to purchase those products then its high quality, yet its alot of miles for a rather new automobile. The benefit is at 84k you may wager that maximum of them have been street miles. Its your call, yet its no longer the wonderful determination.

I have no doubt, given its Toyota origins, that the Scion is a realiable little car. I am quite certain it is also good on gas. But that said--PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE do not buy one and encourage them to keep making those hideous and infernal contraptions.
I suppose I see in Scion owners a little bit of what the public must see in me. So long as I avoid looking into a mirror my own homely countenance is not much of a concern for me, though passersby must yet suffer it. Likewise, the Scion owner can blissfully drive along confident in the quality of his or her car, sanguine with its mileage, and incognizant of the aesthetic affront it presents to the rest of us who must observe its passing.

Don't have one, but I did work for a Toyota Dealer for 3 years and have driven many of them. This is a great basic car. Great gas mileage (better than a Prius) and a comfortable little cruiser.
