I have two blood parrots in my 125 gallon tank along with two oscars who are more than twice their size. The parrots rule the tank. Ive heard of some angels being OK with parrots, but more often than not, they are not compatible.
Blood parrots are cichlids and their attitudes differ from fish to fish, but can usually be grouped in an aggressive category.
here's a site i go to for answers, completely dedicated to Blood parrots. http://www.bloodparrots.co.uk/forum/index.php
