Ming Tsai. An intelligent, creative chef who serves intelligent, creative food with elegance and style. And besides, I love his opening credit sound track... Hiroshima makes beautiful music.

    Rachel Ray Number 1

I enjoy Alton Brown, host of "Good Eats". His show is very informative on a chemical and molecular level, and once you know how food chemicals work it is easier to manipulate them to get the desired result. Chefs that just cook off of recepies would be stuck if an ingredient were missing.

Depends on what style you are looking for. Being a true southern redneck, I love Paula Deen. If you are a working woman with limited time, Rachel Ray has some great meal ideas for the work week & if you have a grill master @ home like my sweetie, Bobby Flay can really heat up your evening!!

I used to like Rachel Ray, but now she is just getting annoying. Maybe it's because she has so many shows now. I'm kind of getting tired of her E.V.O.O and Yum-O. Plus, how hard is it to only spend $40 in one day?

As for Emeril the "bam" is quite played out.

    Bobby Flay is too arrogant.

    Paula Dean is ok.

Alton Brown is the best. He breaks down everything and has cool camera angles. And mixes in some humor. He gets my vote.

They are all good in their specialties. I am with a few, Rach is getting on my nerves, with her yum stuff, she needs to leave that at home, I do like Paula Deen, she is the down home cook. And her son isn't gay either..

Alton Brown, gets my vote, he keeps the show moving along.
