The body of christ, is not speaking of god's actual body. It's is talking about us, the people in the world. The chruches and the christians. We are the one's that do his bidding, we work to help christ.

Christ's body is made up of those who have heard the word(His message), believed His word, repented, confessed that you believe in Jesus and were buried in baptism (completely immersed in water). We are the ones that are the body of Christ.
