Why are there so many trolls on Yahoo Message Boards?
Every single board is filled with trolls. It is Lib this, Con that, racism, one poster with multiple ID's talking to themself, and all sorts of other attacks on decent people. Why does this happen?

Because Yahoo doesn't care about trolls, or the quality of their message boards. It's all about advertising revenue and page hits for them, and they figure trolls make more page hits and get more attention than the people they drive away.

Because it is fun and the game that everyone plays. I am a troll myself--one with a well know ID. People fear me, respect me, hate me, dispise me, want to kiss me, want to kill me--and none of it has any meaning.
It is a community--extended and rich in texture.
