Do you think Troy Glaus will be a Hall of Famer?

if he averages 35 to 40 homers like he has been since he started his carrer. He'll have near 525 to 575 in his carrer or even 600.

Too likely to injure himself or run out of steam. When he first came up I though he had good poential. He fell in love with the long ball and it's hurt his career long term. Like most hitters he actually robs himself of a few HRs a year by trying to hit a HR every time he gets up. He also has an abysmal BA, often hitting below .250. Even if he got 500 HRs, that low career BA might be enough to keep him out of the hall. Especially since hitting 500 HRs comes cheap nowdays. Everybody who lasts is doing it. Even middle infielders are getting in that range.

Glaus doesn't steal bases, isn't a defensive whiz. So he has little shot at the hall as stands. He could go hit 90 HRs tomorow and make me eat those words. He could also finally quit trying to hit every pitch over the fence and become a great hitter like I thought he would. Until something like that happens as soon as his power drops he'll be dropped right out of baseball in a hurry. Nobody could afford all those KOs in the lineup if he isn't hitting 35-45 HRs every year.

Glaus has only averaged 31 HR's in his first seven seasons. He also is a .254 lifetime hitter so when he starts to get a little older, he will become Rob Deer. Glaus has no chance of making the HOF unless he improves his performance over the next 4-5 years. A normal career curve for Glaus won't get it done.

Those are impressive numbers, but it doesn't seperate him from the rest of the league...if he put those numbers up 10-20 years ago, then he'd be a shoe in...but we're playing in an era where homeruns are a dime a dozen, they're just as routine as a ground ball to short...I don't think he'll be in the Hall of Fame

sheff, chipper, Thome, and bagwell are going to get in no issue. rollins and sosa might desire to. glaus doesnt have the stats, i dont think of Ichiro has performed long adequate and you cant take his eastern stats into attention for the yankee baseball corridor-of-repute, besides the reality that i desire he gets in because of the fact he's in simple terms a great participant year in and year out. I dont think of Giambi gets in because of the steroids subject.

Not a chance in hell. I don't think he's an All-Star, let alone a Hall-of-Famer. The guy is barely batting .250 this season!!

Any Blue Jay should be in the hall of fame

IF TROY GLAUS DESERVES TO BE IN THE HALL OF FAME THEN THE MLB DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE AN AMERICAN SPORT

    no,

Just not enough. Hall of Fame is for the elite not the very good.

No, because he can't field very well and his BA is only around .250. He strikes out too often.
