Have you ever had a favorite pet?

yes i had a favorite pet,, his name was shaggy.. best dog in the world.. he was a maltese, this dog would follow me wherever i would go, and supposably take care of me... funny thing is he loved cats.. but they didn't love him.. they would chase him all over the yard, but he didn't care... He would sleep underneath my bed.. and once he realized i was asleep he would jump on top and sleep right beside me.... I miss my dog ;((

My favorite pet is my rat, Hopper (a.k.a. Baby). I got him for an Animal Behavior class where I had to build an obstacle course and train it to run it. I got Hopper when he was 3 weeks old and fell in love with him. (He ran the obstacle course faster than any other rat in the class.) I've had him now for close to 4 months (1/6 of his lifespan), and love to let him out of his cage so he can run around on my bed. We play tag, and when he gets excited, he starts hopping around like a kangaroo rat. He'll even groom me like he would a rat companion. Another favorite thing is when he sticks his face in my ear and squeaks really quietly. He's the cutest thing I've ever seen. I hope to breed him within the year so that I can keep his progeny for generations to come.

My favorite pet of all time is our puppy Snowball. He's a poodle mix with a joyful disposition besides being hyper and a tummy hound lol.

yep, a bird, pepe (which is a boys name, but in fact, we found out 12 yrs later, it's a girl!) The b i t c h is still around...turns 13 on aug 31,2006
