Yahoo is shutting down on August 17th. They want to get rid of free messenger. If you delete this and don't pass it on, your name will be deleted. A lot of people have already been deleted. Right click on the group name of your buddylist and click, Send Instant Message to All in Group.HEY ITS DIANNA, FROM THE DIRECTOR OF YAHOO, EVERYBODY SORRY FOR THE
INTERRUPTION, BUT YAHOO IS CLOSING THE SYSTEM DOWN BECAUSE TOO MANY BOOTERS ARE TAKING UP ALL THE NAMES, WE ONLY HAVE 57 NAMES LEFT, IF U WOULD LIKE TO KEEP YOUR ACCOUNT, SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE ON YOUR LIST. THIS IS NO JOKE
ps iv also seen a lot of people conplaining about it lately
the think is i sent it to yahoo to ask them if it was true and till now have had no reply from them

The big clues are CAPS IN THE MESSAGE - bad spelling - more than one email - pass it on (Why would yahoo or any other firm want you to contact their customers?) - this is no joke (bit desperate to convince : ) ) Who is Dianna??? Check up and find the the Yahoo Directors are not called Dianna.
Instant-messenger-hoaxes fall into the catagory of "why me" the answer is they want your money. Never reply or telephone. Report it or delete it.

This is a hoax chain letter which has been doing the rounds for three or four years (actually since Messenger started I expect). It's rubbish - just delete it.

sorry mate, but you have hackers. for one, the director of yahoo would never contact you, and two, how can you have a limited names list, just look at some of 'em on here. are your mates and/or girlfriend taking the mickey?

I have not seen the message, but I would not believe it if I were you. Yahoo would publish it on their news page if it were true
