I don't fry pork chops (because of the fat), so I bake them. And the best thing I've found is the old Shake n Bake for pork chops. It really does keep them moist and juicy.

    Two ways.

    1. Fry on each side for about two minutes in olive oil (use a cover!). The bake in an oven at 325 F for about 1 1/2 hours, covered.

    2. This is how I do it-place in the bottom of a glass cooking pan. Add a couple of cans of tomato SAUCE. Clean and cut potatos, place next to pork chops. I also cut up mushrooms, green peppers and place on top of the tomato sauce. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350 F for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

I was a single parent with three boys, no one told me how, just tried it.

I fry them but with a tight fitting cover. After they are mostly done and are brown add just a 1/4 cup of water to the pan. It will boil and steam ferviously. Close up the lid and let it sit with the heat off or on very low for about 5 minutes. It will continue to cook and will be Super juicy!!!!!

Don't over cook them. My wife sautes them in some olive oil with garlic Brown both sides and remove. To the garlic and oil add drained frozen spinach that has been cooked in microwave or boiled, to this add a can of tomato sauce a bring to a simmer. Return pork chops to pan a simmer for 15 minutes or finish in oven. Don't forget to season with salt and pepper. The pork chops are braising in a delicious spinach and tomato sauce. My kids love it.

    Original recipe yield: 2 servings.

    Prep Time:5 Minutes

    Cook Time:10 Minutes

    Ready In:15 Minutes

    Servings:2

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    INGREDIENTS:

1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix

    2 pork chops

    1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup olive oil for frying

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    DIRECTIONS:

Before opening the onion soup mix, use your hands to crush the larger bits of onion in the packet. Open the packet, and pour the mix into a shallow bowl. Stir in the flour.

Heat the oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat. The oil is hot enough when a pinch of the flour mixture sizzles when tossed into the oil. Coat pork chops in the onion soup mixture, and shake off the excess. Carefully place in the hot oil. Turn chops over after about 30 seconds to quickly sear both sides. Cook for about 4 minutes per side, or to desired degree of doneness.

You can bake them covered with foil or fry them on Med. high to brown and then turn the heat to med low and cook slowly. An easy way to make good chops is to put them in a crock pot with no liquid and sprinkle pork gravy mix over them, cook on low for 5 or 6 hours, they are so moist!

    1. Use high heat intially to brown the sides, sealing the juices inside, turning once and never piercing

    2. Grill through on medium heat or cook in oven

    3. Never over cook

    4. Use a sauce

    5 Serve at once

Bake it with batter on it. That way, the juice stays in the chop. Try to get a more fatty chop; the lean ones tend to be tougher and drier.

knock about 15 minutes off from the cook time, or even more.

You can all ways cook some thing a bit longer, you can never uncook it. Finish it off in the microwave, it will stay moist in there.
