Is 36 to old to get a tatto?
I am thinking about getting a tatto of my son's name on my shoulder.

Not too old at all! It does hurt, since you've been through childbirth, this should be no trouble at all! Just be sure to wear an old shirt, as the ink may rub off. Then again, when the tattoo artist is done, they will probably apply a thin layer of A&D ointment on it and some gauze. Make sure to stay out of the sun for 2 weeks afterwards.

It seems like a very sweet thing to do, but remember that a tattoo is very hard to get rid of. After a while you might get tired of it, and since your shoulder area is visible in the summer, it can get quite frustrating, if for some reason you need to cover it. It is extremely expensive to get laser treatments and it hurts like crazy. I am talking out of my own experience. I wish I never got a tattoo. You could get yourself and your child matching engraved bracelets. His with "mommy" on it, and yours with his name......

Absolutely NOT! If it's what you want, do it.
My advise..if you plan on having more kids, wait and do it all at once.
I waited till my last was born (knowing I wanted to get a tatoo someday) then went out about a year after her birth and had it done. I have all kinds of people compliment me on it and love the idea of my children's name being incorporated.

No i do no longer think of 36 is basically too previous different than the older you get the extra probability of miscarriage or harder to fall pregnant. i in my opinion think of couples ought to have their toddlers before 40 besides the undeniable fact that so as that the youngster has mothers and fathers for longer.

Hell NO. If you are 65 and want a tattoo, you go for it. I don't think 36 is at all to old.
