ten points would mean alot to me I have only started on this a few days ago i think I am addicted already I am trying really hard to get to level two so I would really like another ten points to help me on my way. Thanks

The 10 points mean a lot me in that when I recieve a vote for best answer, I gain more confidence in my ability to help people by aswering questions.
To me 10 points means a boost to my confidence. It's like an acknowledgement of 'thanks for your time' from someone who sought info.
But still there can only be one best answer chosen and the important thing is the help given to the Asker - although only 1 is chosen, the asker may well benefit from the collective suggestions of all.

If you would give them to me it would mean the world. It is my whole reason for being,what keeps me going in this world. I have nothing and your ten points would mean that I am actually someone,someone who the world can recognize as a ten point getter. Than you thank you very much

As much as the rubbish in the bin - nothing, but when I see them I am pleased because it means the person feels I have been a help. Otherwise no they mean nothing and I could live without them.
