Why doesnt fruit taste as good as the artificial flavored stuff?

    I think real fruit tastes much better than artifical flavoring. so I can't answer your question. sorry.

    The artificial stuff is mostly chemicals with a bit of fluff. And the real fruit follows the rule that "something that is good for you doesn't taste as good as the other"

    I think real fruit tastes better, actually.

    However, it doesn't taste as good as it could these days because a lot of the produce is bred to look better or last longer at the supermarket. Red Delicious apples are one example of that: they taste terrible and tend to get mushy. But they weren't always that way.

    Manufacturers over-compensate for the taste. That's the reason for the more potent fruit taste. It's basically a way to satisify the consumer.

    Because all the preservatives have been taken out of the dried fruit and it do sent have the vitamins and taste that the other real fruit have.
