Want to buy a Harley Road Glide Black with the red stripe?
I am fixing to go to boot Camp for the Air Force Reserve, and want to purchase the bike when I get out of tech school which will be approx. 6-8 months and I am trying to find out who is the best dealer to buy from as far as price and service. I can go anywhere in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arizona, etc....If the deal is worth the drive.
The Road Glide is a Road King frame with hard bags and a frame mounted fairing similar to that of a street glide only not mounted to the trees but the frame. It has dual headlights. check out harley's website to see a picture.
I want one at MSRP no accessories so I can pick my own accessories.

All the Harley's are priced the same new.
If you buy in Texas, then go to Cowboys in Beumont,Tx
If you buy in Louisiana, get one at Lake Charles Harley
In Arkansas Buy at the Hot Springs store.
In Arizona go to Barnett HD. Bigest selection.
If you can pay cash that would be the best way, then just get liability insurance on it.

Never heard of a Harley Davidson "Road Glide". Do you mean "Road King" ? As for your color choice, it sounds like youre referring to the 100 Anniversary ( 2003 ) models. Black was one of the 2003 model year colors. The "red stripe" that you are talking about is actually "Harley Davidson", repeated over and over in VERY small text and, is called the "watermark" ( Kind of a way to keep someone fromm painting a 2002 or 2004 bike and trying to sell it as an Anniversary bike. You can't just go out and buy the "watermark" stripe at a H-D dealer ).
Finding one for sale shouldn't be too difficult ( not as easy as finding one in 2003 but, it still shouldn't be too hard ). Check Cycle Trader ( http://cycletrader.com/ ) or just about any dealership that sells used bikes, if they don't have it, they may be able to help you find it.
