How often should women of color wash their hair?

Every day.

it depends on what kind of hair you have and what kind of weather your hair is often subjected to. in tropical climates, people can wash their hair everyday or every other day because the atmosphere keeps the moisture in the hair. but if you live in a dry country or a country with really harsh weather (too cold, too hot, etc) then wash it when it starts getting really oily, flat and not so nice smelling anymore. if you tend to wash your hair often you have to condition it often as well.

i have black, wavy hair and i find myself washing it every other day or every two days. by that time, my scalp's itching to get washed already.

once a week or the natural oils in our hair will dry and out and ur hair will lose shine and softness and inevitably break out the ends leading to damage..unless u use good natural hair products..

Once a week is good. deep conditioner once a month.

Not everyday. If it was everyday the beauticians would make your appointment everyday. Its every two weeks.
