I was interested in finding out about automotive jobs in or around Detroit. I'm looking for testing facilities, or manufacturing. I have an associates in applied science in automotive technology.

Perhaps you haven't been following the industry of late...it's slow here...really slow...and has been for 4-5 years. I wouldn't seek automotive employment...I would look into aero-space.
Chrysler's laying off, GM just laid of a LOT, Ford's about to lay off more...and many jobs are going overseas.
Check out Boeing in Seattle, Freightliner in Portland OR, FalconJet in AK, and Gulfstream in GA.

Look at www.datnews.com. Also contact your school guidance office for any heads up. Look up associations, such as, Association of Quality Control, Society of Plastic Engineers, etc.
