why is it too hard to find a good person as a friend on internet?

The majority of people on here can't be honest. They find it very easy to make up things about themselves in order to impress other people, believing they can do this without ever being caught. It is kind of hard to make real friends on here, but it can be done, just not as often as it can happen in real life. I have one friend that I started chatting with way back in 1997. Her and I have met, gone and stayed at each others homes and are still friends to this day. But like I said, this isn't the rule, it's an exception.

perhaps you are looking too hard, and expect too much. People are people all over, they have flaws, just like you do. I have a few people I call friends online, and I have never even met them. Two to be exact, the rest are just casual acquaintances at best. One of my friends, I call her my girlfriend. One day we will meet, but it has to wait on school. I'm 26, so don't think I'm still in public school, I am going to school here soon for a new job, that's all, lol. I can't go meet her untill that is over though.

First you have to spend sometime talking on the Internet. If early on they make crude comments. Put them on your ignore list. I have an ignore list a mile long. They'll start talking all nice and with respect. Then their hitting on you or sending nudies of themselves.

I have also found that the Internet opens the door for a lot of men that wouldn't normally be in situations. Whether in be that their personalities, looks or mannerisms wouldn't be anything I was interested in. Just be careful.

Well sometimes your not looking in the right places.In chatroom there are no rules and they don't usually know anyone in the room so they can be as off the wall as they want.Your a stranger to almost anyone on the net because they can't see you or hear you so people are less inclined to be respectful and nice.I hope that answers your question.If you want I can be your friend just email me ktswtpea11@aol.com.13/f/ca!

I have met a few from the internet in the past. It is hard to really connect with someone else, not only online but in person too.

I will chat with you. I think all the creepy, weirdo, pervert old men have made all the decent people not trust one another. Just make sure you know who you are talking to and NEVER ever give away any personal information like where you live or your full name.

Maybe you're not looking in the right places. But you have to be very careful and pick and chose. Maybe you are asking the wrong question. It's easy to make friends if you know what you are doing.

Some of it is local culture. I think people learn to get along with other people by where they live. People in NYC might get along better with other people from NYC and no so much with people in Little Rock, AR and vice versa. Just like people of their own age group or same educational level might get along better with similiar people. There are so many different types of people on the Internet... your chances are better with people closer and IN REAL LIFE/FACE to FACE.

dont trust people in internet coz in this area is not safe for trusting.common here they make only playing and joking.but why u need to look best friend here u can better in personal.the one who can really trust full,but nobody knows maybe u will found one for u

Internet is like a jungle. You just have to be careful who you speak to. Many are mocked as sheep but yet they are wolves.
