Green Lynx Spider....?
My son found a Green Lynx Spider outside our door yesterday and he insists on keeping it as a pet. What should he feed his "pet" and does anyone know if these spiders bit? I read that they don't but when it comes to spiders I am very skeptical. Anyone have any tips?
Thanks :-)

From what i have read they are very good for eating the pests in crop Fields. They eat bees, moths, cotton leaf worm moths and flys. Maybe your son could watch him for awhile and let him go...he will do much better in your garden and keep down the bug population for you too!

I suggest that your son put that spider back out where it came from and yes that kinda spider does bite and can be very painful and I can't tell you what to feed the spider I am terrified of spiders but good luck with it..

I feed it bugs I find around. i found my spider in the shower, first thing I thought was POKEMON, GOT TO CATCH IT LOL.... and I did.. it does bite but it isn t deadly. I m hoping to train it to eat specific things.. and release it to kill... lol.. its an interesting spider to say the least.
