On Little House the Prairie what ever happened to Almanzo and Laura's big white house?
When they first got married they lived in a big white house. By the start on Little House New Beginning they were living in a one room house and they added a second room. By the time Albert came home to die they were living in a big white house again. Does anyone know why there was a change in houses?
Then how come everyones houses and stores weren't burned.

The house was torn apart by a tornado. Almanzo built the new house. After Laura inherited a huge house which she ran a bording house in.
In real life their house burned down too, and she ran a bordering house for a while.

there was a developer who seized ownership of the towns land --- and he wanted the people to pay him for the land or move --- they found a loophole and they all agreed to destroy their properties...
