I just got a VIOLATION NOTICE EMAIL from Yahoo! Answers for something petty. Has this happened to anyone else?
I answered a question with two question marks instead of writing out I DON'T KNOW. They removed my answer and took away my two points. =(
For you JUST WONDERING....If it's a question that asks if you know...or don't know.....Common sense would tell you that I don't know is a valid answer. I guess you just got two points for nothing huh?

Ya at times Yahoo sucks like that. They did this to me sometime ago.

You should've found a question that you can answer, instead of typing out two question marks in response to a question. IMO, it's not a good idea to read a question and give an answer of "I don't know". That's not helping the asker any.

That wasn't an answer. In fact, why would you answer a question "I DON'T KNOW"? I would never personally report something that petty but that kind of answer doesn't deserve two points.
