I do not have an ipod, bit I want to record podcasts and burn them as MP3's to a CDRW disc. How to do this?
I am looking for suggetions on how to accomplish recording podcasts to my local hard disk for later listening via a CDRW disc. I use CDRW discs for audio MP3 files on a CD/MP3 player. I just want to use the equipment I already have rather than buying an ipod.

You do not need a ipod because podcast files, in fact, are just mp3 files ( you will need to convert to mp3 if file types are not mp3):
- go to Nero.com and download a trial version of Nero. Read its instruction and you will know how to burn podcast to CDrom

You can download iTunes even if you don't have an ipod. Then in itunes there is an option to burn a selection to a disk. Just follow the instructions and you shouldn't have any trouble.
