Any great hotels in Birmingham, AL that are reasonable on the price?

Update:

Thanks for the answers so far. I am really looking for people who have actually stayed at these places or know about them. I have looked up many places online and have not been able to find anything that I like.

    Oh my I love B'ham....Dreamland BBQs banana cream pudding....hmmmmmm

    Try the Hampton Inn, Drury or Fairfield in the Mountain Brook/Inverness area along 280.

    The Sheraton right next to the airport was cheap.

    Also, maybe try Hoover or Homewood.
