I have a rather large list of recipients to send an e-mail to. But yahoo says "too many recipients". Help!!

I am NOT a spammer. I manage a ham radio contest and I'm sending out invitations to a large number of other radio enthusiasts. Is there a way to get around whatever limit is being placed on my list of recipients.

You're dealing with an automatic filter. I suggest setting up several smaller lists (you can probably find out Yahoo's limit by reading about their email service). Set it up in normal paragraph style with commas inbetween each email addy so you can copy and paste it into your email. Keep that file in your folder for future mailings.

Try dividing your contacts into groups. One of the advantages of Yahoo. Every time I send mail to more that one person Yahoo asks me if I want to create a list after I've sent the message.

You can either limit you addresses and send more than one copy of the message OR you can use the different recipient fields (TO, CC, BCC) and put a certain amount of the addresses in each field.

Try sending it out twice with half the recipients on each one. Where's the party?

Sure. Just send the e-mail to yourself, and then put all the recipients in the BCC section. The BCC (or blind carbon copy) section will send the mail, but not show any of the addresses.

You may have to change over to a paid service like Constant Contact. The first 50 emails are free, but then there is a charge after that. They also give you access to email statistics and let you design your email. Check it out!

Save the note and re-send it to smaller sets of receipients several times.

Break the list into two or three and send them that way.

  • Copy the page you need to send, then send it to as many recipitants as possible and keep doing that until you have sent it to all.

cut ur list into sections and send them a section at a time. and i don't think there is another way
