judo ,torquay 1963 onwards, any info would be helpfull?
i trained at the apollo judo club onwards from this period, all my old friends could help, bev barnett, danny da-costa,ken creber,john heales, angy may,chris crowley , sam asplen etc

Why don't you contact the BJA and BJC and ask them if they have any record of these men as current members. They could at least pass your details to them if they get funny about the data protection act which I am sure they will.
The BJA went electronic with the a lot of the membership stuff in the early 90s but the SW area secretary may still have access to the records.
At the least they could give you the contact details of the coaches for the clubs in that area and you could give therm a ring. The BJA website has contact details for most clubs so you could sent it by email
They were quite helpful to me when I took up the sport again after a seventeen year break, digging out my old license details etc..
