Instead, the calculation of what a person's score was on the most recent weekly update doesn't appear to be working. It looks to be an incorrectly calculated date that is too far in the past. (It's not a static date, because it doesn't stay 100% progressive from a static date.)

Due to the high volume of questions and emails about the incorrect stats, some of us have resorted to noting on our profile that this feature is still broken. Some people are being accused of points gaming because of these incorrect stats.

It will be great to see it fixed.

The points per week hasn't been resetting properly since June. The Yahoo Answers team is aware of this, and they said they are trying to fix. But, it seems to be taking a VERY long time. I'm hoping it will be fixed next week.

It seems to give a bi-weekly total. I know I'm an answering maniac, but not to that extent!

HAVING POINTS IS COOL IF YOU CAN REDEEM THEM FOR EVEN COOLER STUFF, BUT I THINK JUST BEING ABLE TO EXPRESS YOURSELF IN THIS TYPE OF FORMAT AND THE WEALTH OF VALID, SOLID, ACCURATE INFORMATION IS IMMEASURABLE.
