I live in Dallas, Tx. and I love Classic Jazz. I enjoy the visual arts and the spoken word.
How does the phrase "Bless you" have any meaning when said after someone sneezes.?
Does anyone know who actually came up with this phrase? Why say anything when a person sneezes? And Gezundeheit. What, exactly does this mean?

Which is the greater sin, physical sex or masturbation and this is NOT a pornographic question so please answer with that in mind.
35 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat do you feel is the proper attire to wear in church?
Most people have such a relaxed attitude about life AND worship (because most people don't). I've been to different churches and I've seen people dressed in shorts, flip flops, drinking coffee in the Sanctuary, never carrying a Bible or taking any notes. I was appalled! As a Christian and a believer in the Bible and what It says, most Scriptures speak of reverence, respect, even attire for men as well as women. Where have our values and morals gone. Please answer.

4 AnswersOther - Food & Drink2 decades agoWhy can't we respect the Masters in Classic Jazz and not stop at Ray Charles, Miles Davis. There are more!!!
It seems only Ken Burns can capture the essence of the genre. All too many venues have either a bail of hay onstage or smashed guitars. No one will remember the 'Count' or the 'Duke' or Blakey or Tatum, Jamal or Garner. Our contribution to music, The Great American Song Book-Classic Jazz.
