whatever you do, steer clear (nice pun, huh?) from continentals... tread separations, bubbles in the side walls, etc. <yikes!> unfortunately they came as standard equipment on benzes for a few years. what were they thinking?
i'd go to a reputable tire store and ask the techs there. be sure to get a tire that's rated to keep up with how your benz handles and how you drive it. nothing worse than going into a twisty curve and getting tire slop from tires meant for a "geezermobile".

go to www.tirerack.com and enter info about your specific model. all the brands that make your model's tire size will come up. you can then compare user's ratings of each brand.
