The only one required to wear one is the catcher. Optional for other players.

All professional players wear them. People playing pick-up games don't always, but I'd recomend it for catchers.

The catchers probably do. The others most likely do not. Even some football players don't because the extra weight.

I don't either, because they don't come in Big Shot size.

I would they would be worn by choice and I think most of the players probably do wear them

    not all do.

i think they are supposed to but many athletes feel that it slows you down. protective cups can also give you rashes in the heat from rubbing against your inner thighs as you run. so they are supposed to but it comes down to a personal choice

outfielders do not wear cups, some middle infileders may not wear them. All catcher, pitcher, corner infielders all wear cups.

usually just catchers but i went to htis camp once and they made you were a cup no matter what position you played even pitcher that stunk.

outfielders do not wear cups and most pitchers do not either - only infielders and the catcher - cups are for balls in the dirt, not the grass - balls roll pretty true on the grass
