Theme in Windows XP?

I have several theme package from my previous Windows 98. I was wondering how can I use them in my XP system? I have tried just load the theme file into the Display properties but nothing work. Any other method?

Please, no spam and/or junk (including that does'n solve the problem). Love to have a professional's answer!!

    So instead wasting time trying to move old 98 themes to XP go into a search engine like yahoo or google and search for ""free Windows XP Themes download"" .

    Windows XP has all the themes in it from previous o/s, they are called classic themes. Simply do the following to get a classic theme instead of the default XP theme:

    Go to your desktop, right click a blank area, click on properties and then click the "Appearance" Tab. Unfortunatly, My XP is currently down and Im going on memory. But once you get to that tab, you will find how to change it. Sorry I could not be more of a help.

    TopThinks is software that will load Windows 98 themes. It will also create themes.

    Try to google for the "Royale Theme" its official from Microsoft.

    follow MY INSRUCTIONS FIRST!! First superb suited click on your taskbar (the factor with the start button) Then pass to the "commence menu" tab on superb suited of that demonstrate screen then examine or press the dot the place it says "commence menu", if that's already checked then follow those training: Press the start button Settings administration Panel gadget --Then press the tab on superb suited of that demonstrate screen that asserts progressed Then press thesetting button on that demonstrate screen Then pres regulate for superb appearence and it will reform to the default residing house windows XP style...
