Go for it.
In any big city, New York,, San Francisco, Los Angeles, it pays way more than $30 hour. However, you are limited by the wear and tear on your wrists, you definetely don't want to work more than 3 days/week in your first year. If you do you'll have carpal tunnel fast. you want to ease into an office until you get to know who needs the heavy cleaning and who needs the light cleanings. As for it being easy, I don't think so. I would fire any hygenist with such an attitude. There is a lot of risk and responsability when placing restorative work in people's mouths. Take it weriously and you will be rewarded.

go for it .thats what im going for and i work in a dental office now .its a easy job and it pays really good .i dont know where you live but i live in new jersey and it pays 30 dollars an hour just starting off and you only have to go to school for 2 years .i swear to god all you do is cleanings and like stupid impressions and you cemant crowns .its soo easy .just go for it .
