Do people ever write real letters on the Internet?

yeah i write real letters. i think ur juss talkin to the wrong people

I have a couple of friends and relatives that I exchange "letters" with. I put anyone that keeps sending jokes and junk (and nothing else) on ignore or report them as spam.

I do. My draft box is filled with past letters and rough drafts!

Don't take the jokes to personaly. They thought something was funny and wanted to share it with you. But I put my foot down with the chain emails. I never forward them and I right back to people not to send me anymore.

I find that to be true, as well. My older friends and I actually write to each other amongst all the forwards. Younger folk only send terse sentences. Oh well, let them do their thing and I'll continue to do mine.

YOu are so right. No one bothers to write to me about what's happening in their lives..........but then again I don't do it either. I suppose people don't want to reveal too much of themselves.
