Is anyone else having trouble with their 2006/2007 Toyota front end paint finishes?

This may be irrelevant, but I had a 2003 Corolla with the same problem on the sides of the vehicle. In 11 months, one dogleg was down to the primer and had started to rust ( and yes, I had FACTORY mudflaps from day 1!) I worked at the dealership that I bought it from and they hemmed and hawwed, finally said they would repaint it, but it would do the same thing again because Toyota was using a new water-based paint. I went to another dealership and they laughed and showed me to the door. BTW, I had only owned the car for 11 months, and had approx 10,000 miles on it. So much for "Toyotas' Quality" I traded the vehicle for a 2003 Dodge Neon, it still has the paint on it! I'll never own another Toyota! I have also heard that the trucks have paint problems also, but I don't know that first hand Sorry for the long rant.

well i had a scion xa 2006 with the same issue. for sum reason i notice is that the newer model paint job are very sensitive and that it cost almost as twice as much to get it re painted than an older car. but it might be a defect
