How long will it last? Heck, I doubt it'll ever even begin. There are more than enough whackos on both sides to make sure that somebody will be shooting something at someone else there.

From what i'm able to tell (the arguments overlap, are ambiguous, and would circulate back centuries in case you opt to delve into religous rhetoric): Mass exodus of Jews submit-WW2, moved into land that British owned under the Mandate of Palestine, kicking out families who have been already there. because 1948 the recent state of Israel has been attempting to enhance its borders, attacking neighbouring worldwide places and killing its very own electorate (this unquestionably constitutes terrorism). Israel's nicely coordinated massacres and thefts of land have been happening for years. Survivors who lost their residences are scuffling with back (somewhat quite, thinking the help (money and weapons) the U. S. and Europe has given Israel), that's why there's a conflict. in case you unquestionably need to comprehend the situation i could propose reading books, and warding off mainstream media which for the duration of the years has been unashamedly biased in direction of Israel (possibly because of the fact of economic pressures and threats).

I don't think it will last more than a day or 2 because Hezbollah will not sit still for anyone telling them what to do. The Lebanese people seem to think that Hezbollah are their saviors and the Israelis are the monsters. I imagine they are already chafing at the bit.

About a day. Because now Hezballah is claiming victory, and so is Isreal, so now they'll both be pissed each other.

I say not long. Sooner or later The Hez and UN troops are going to start duking it out. I'm just being sarcastic but I really hope it lasts to settle their differences.

Settle their differences? Did I type that? What am I, dreaming?!

    Not even an hour...

Israel always known for her non concern of UN resolution...

Of course the major combats will stop...but Israel will continue to fly over Lebanon and shoot on the borders..

since 1982 invasion many result ion like this from UN was declared but Israel always break them...cause she is over the international law...by the support of USA

    Israel v Hizbollah

    Jews v Arabs

    Cease-fire?

They've been fighting since Abraham - over 3,000 years ago.

Do you really think a UN resolution will stop all that?

Haven't they started again, already? I think I read they did. The reason being: they've fought for thousands of years. That is their life. And the U.N. has never been able to stop it before.
