How do I make Yahoo my deafault email in Vista?
I am running Vista Beta 2 and there is only one choice in default email-Windows Mail! I can use my Yahoo email for normal email functions such as sending and recieving mail, but cannot set it to open when I right click on a page etc to send to email. It always gives me Windows Mail which requires a pop 3 mail account and I use Web mail. Any ideas folks?

This is what you need to do. Just follow the directions below.
I haven't tried this with Vista, but it works on all other Windows and it should work on Vista too.
Teach your computer to use Yahoo! Mail.
Using Internet Explorer just click "Continue" on the link below to download a small 60K file that will enable Yahoo! Mail to be the default email program for your computer. Whenever you click on an email address on any web page or in any computer program, Yahoo! Mail will open for you in a new window.
If Internet Explorer displays a yellow security bar at the top, click on it and select Install ActiveX Control from the menu.
If a security warning comes up with Yahoo! Inc. as the publisher, click Install.
Now you can click on an email address anywhere and your computer will automatically open up Yahoo! Mail for you.
You can even send documents directly from Word, Excel, or other Windows applications.

• Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher

Vista Window mail is basically an digital mail application with which you get right of entry to your digital mail account. you heavily isn't waiting to apply it to get right of entry to Yahoo mail or the different information superhighway mail, such as Gmail or Hotmail with abode windows mail. there is not any actual way of choosing Yahoo digital mail as a default because it HTTP based. in case you had Microsoft Outlook, you need to opt for that as your mail application of decision and configure your yahoo mail in that.
