algebra or pre algebra?
last year my math teacher told me that i got good enough grades to get into algebra, but that i might end up getting C's because im not great at math....so she gave me the option of either class. my mom really wanted me to go to algebra so thats what i told my teacher, but im not comfortable with getting C's in class and I got a B+last year but it wasnt easy. i've told my mom and she thinks that i'll be fine if i get a tutor but i dont know....what class should i take?

Do it, take Algebra. You should dive into your math with both feet. Math is the universal language - want to understand things? Want a good job? Learn how to learn, get help if you need it. All of it can be understood by you!

Take pre-algebra. Algebra is so important in all math in college. You need a very good foundation in Algebra.

I think if you study hard, you can do very well in Algebra. I recommend you get 2 books, Algebra I for Dummies, and Algebra II for Dummies, both written by Mary Jane Sterling. You will have NO problem passing Algebra. Goodluck!

pre-algebra is an introductory class and instructional class leading up to algebra. It gives the fundamentals and basics. Algebra is Algebra- you do the math ;)

Just remember that if you take algebra, that goes on your gpa. If you take pre-Algebra, you still have time to master your skills before entering into algebra! :)

i think you should go with pre algebra just because you don't want to push yourself too much.

i think you should go with pre-algebra if it makes you feel more comfortable, and just don't pressure yourself, you don't want things harder for yourself
