How long can/will it take for me to develop total fluency in a language?
I am currently studying Japanese and watching Japanese tv shows online. I have been picking up the spoken language fairly well. On average, how long can it take on average to develop total spoken fluency?

For most languages, it takes about a month and a half of intensive exposure/study to become fluent. Japanese, frankly, is pretty simple. Good luck!
