How do you edit/shorten the length of a song to be used as a ringtone for your mobile?

It depends on the phone if it can cater MP3 format or midi. You can use an audio slicing program. Most of them are available online and free - easy to use too.

You can use sound editing softwares like cool edit pro, vegas, avid & many other software. The softwares suggested by me may be old, but these are software which i use.There are lots of softwares you can use for that. You have to find out the format which supports your phone and save it in that format. Its very easy, right.

U can go to composer on your mobile & delete the notes at the end

You can get Mp3 cutter. serch on net by" Big MP3 to Small MP3" or Odacity

use composer in ur cell phone or a mp3 cutter

if it's an mp3 then use a mp3 cutter, if its a mono then change the tempo settings

go to profile edit and i guess there shd be an option to do so

audacity is probably what you would be looking for.
